"As a busy professional, Merle was a perfect fit to sell my home and represent me in purchasing another. She is an excellent communicator, extremely knowledgeable, and very personable (qualities that are a must in the real estate business). Merle was a tireless advocate for me, particularly when dealing with another agent who was difficult. I have high expectations and Merle exceeded my expectations. She was very professional and a pleasure to work with every step of the way. There was not a day that went by that Merle did not communicate with me about my listing and answer my many questions (often times, multiple times per day). Quite simply, Merle is THE best real estate agent in Tucson and you will not be disappointed if you choose her to represent you."

"I was buying a condo in Ventana Canyon and hire Merle Martinovich as the "Dual agent" as she already had the listing on the condo I wanted to buy. I was doing the bulk of my research using Zillow because I was an out of state buyer living full time in downtown Denver. Merle proved to be a unethical and dishonest agent in my opinion that only cared about getting double the commission in her pocket. She actually recommended to me that I not do an inspection or an appraisal because the sellers were so "Meticulous" to use her exact words. Well, I didn't take her advice on the inspection because these units are 30 years old and you can put new window coverings up, paint walls and throw some new appliances and sinks in to make it appear all updated but you need a licensed inspector to tell you what you cannot see with your eyes! The inspector found many small issues but the big one was an original AC unit (30 years old) which was very inefficient and had mold, rotting and rust covering it. An AC unit might be the single most important thing when buying a condo or home in Arizona! The inspector recommended in his report that the sellers have a licensed HVAC contractor REPLACE or repair the unit. I begged Merle to write in our inspection objection section of the contract that the sellers replace this unit but she said she wanted to use the inspectors exact language of Replace or Repair. Well you can guess what happened next....Merle found a non-licensed handyman that cleaned the old rusty/moldy AC air handler and produced a receipt for repairs but upon moving in found nothing was different than the original inspection. I've made repeated calls to the agent and her managing Broker, Laura Mance to ask that Long Realty compensate me (or compel the sellers to do so) the so I could hire a licensed HVAC company to replace the old inefficient AC system and I've received a letter back from their attorney basically saying I'm SOL.In summary, you have a choice of Real estate agents to use and if you choose Merle Martinovich of Long Realty, you will be "on your own" with an agent who does not care about you or doing the right ethical thing. In my case, she ended up double-ending the transaction thus got double the money in her pocket. That seems to be the biggest motivator for her."

"Merle Martinovich is one of the best realtors I’ve met. She looked at dozens of houses with me & my husband as we tried to find the perfect one. We made an offer on a house we thought was the one only to find out it was sold while we were seeing it! Nevertheless Merle continued to look for properties that would appeal to us. When we finally found the one she not only recommended different inspectors & contractors but she also coordinated meeting them at the house when we couldn’t be available. The roof on our house needed to be redone and she negotiated on our behalf with the seller’s agent to get everything done to our satisfaction. Merle worked tirelessly for us throughout the process and put in countless hours to make sure she didn’t just sell us a house but rather a home we could enjoy for years to come. I would only recommend Merle to anyone looking for an agent. She was not pushy like others I’ve met and really wanted the best for us."

"My husband and I purchased a home this past May in Oro Valley, Arizona and could not have been happier with Merle and everything she did for us. We were purchasing from out of town which made things more difficult, but Merle was always willing to go out of her way to inspect the home herself, recommend amazing and licensed specialists for any repairs that needed to be done and put in countless hours in communication with the sellers agent as well as our mortgage company. The entire home buying process looked effortless as Merle knew the ins and outs of any question, problem or complication that came about. She kept us in the loop at all times through email, text and phone calls. It put my husband and I at ease knowing we had someone back in town looking out for us and for our potential home. We now live in our dream home and still receive texts from Merle asking if there is anything she can do for us as well as provide recommendations on anyone we may need for work around the house. I would not go with anyone else in the real estate business besides Merle Martinovich. She will make the home buying process look effortless with her vast knowledge and expertise.
